NEVATON MICROPHONES ...THEY ARE FOREVER

Certainly, once powered up, Nevaton immidiately impressed with its
sharp presentation, brimming with life and vitality throughout the high frequency band.
I liked the Nevaton a great deal.
There's some healthy competition
around the same price poit, not the least of them the Beyer MC740, but the MC51 is certainly good value, and well worth a listen.

The Mix, May 1995

During the brief time I've spent working with the MC51, I've thoroughly enjoyed its warm, revealing sound and its versatility. It costs just a little more than a budget fixed-pattern capacitor mic, but at the same time,
it performs as well as some of top-name capacitor mics costing over twice as much.

Sound on sound, May 1995

The most remarkable thing about the whole Nevaton range is its low price, in line with the trend for unknown Soviet microphones to compete on virtually equel terms with established Western models at a fractions of the price.
